Brothers & Sisters S3E10

"Just a Sliver"

The best part of this clip is of course Scotty & Kevin's conversation, definitely.

Kevin: Hopefully I'll just end up with a scar and nothing else.
Scotty: I like scars. I think they're sexy.

I know, they are sexy. Especially when Luke says, it sounds much sexier!

Scotty: You're an attorney …
Kevin: Not if I'm on life support. As my husband, you'd be charged with pulling the plug or not.
Scotty: Okay, this is all starting to get a little ... err ... too ... erm... real.
Kevin: Yeah I might sign that one in the morning. It's a good thing we are married. If it was up to my mother, she'd never pull the plug and I'd be a vegetable for all eternity.

This is the sweetest conversation ever!!! Both of them are caring each other, I would like to have such incredible partner.

Scotty: I'm sorry, I'm just... I'm scared.
Kevin: I know. Come here.

It's one of the best scene, I assume.

Over There (2005)

"Pvt. Frank ‘Dim’ Dumphy"
I think this role made Luke famous. This TV-series were aired in 2005, but it was only 13 episodes. It is shame they didn't make more like 2nd Season or extra episodes. Luke is excellent in this one.

Brothers & Sisters S3E09

"Unfinished Business"

Scotty is always a buffer. This episode obviously shows Nora's personality, she has some lines in other episodes, I don't remember exactly though, as a role of Nora of course, she's controlling, overbearing, and dominating. I think it's true. She needs to release her children.
Anyway when Justin slips something and it almost hits Scotty, Kevin got angry, it's very sweet. And Scotty says "I'm trying to achieve a state of zen." then Nora thanks him for this, he sounds like whisper "I said I'm trying." He is nice most of the time but not always, it brings us a little reality.

Scotty: Because he didn't make a partner.
Kevin: What? No, no I wanna make difference.
It sounds cute, like as a small lover quarrel.

Brothers & Sisters S3E08

"Going Once... Going Twice"

Wow, Scotty has been promoted to a head chef.

Kevin: Wait! Saturday's "Yay Scotty made it an article" dinner is now "Yay Scotty got promoted" dinner.
Scotty: I told you how much I love your family recently.

Kevin jumps up from his bed when Scotty announced he's gotten a promotion. That's cute!
Then a thing happen in "Yay Scotty got promoted" dinner. In fact, Kevin has a financial "hiccup" and it is seriously reducing of income. Kevin makes only one fourth of previous income. Scotty goes home during the party because of the thing that Kevin has done. After Kevin comes back, they try to fix the problem.

Kevin: I guess I wanted to still prove that I could do that, that I could take care of you, and if I couldn't, then why would you even love me?
Scotty: Kevin, I don't love you because of how much money you make, or because you take care of me. I love you because your heart is bigger than your very annoying brain. And even if you do want to be competitive with me, it wouldn’t make sense, because you’re the reason I am who I am now.

Love it!
And probably the next day, Kevin takes blindfolded Scotty and drives.

Kevin: Did I do good?
Scotty: Very good. I love you.

Fabulous outside kiss!

Bloggers & Sisters from ABC, Brothers & Sisters.
Luke Macfarlane Interview (Part Two)

Writers' Intern Jeff Bibeau continues his interview with Luke Macfarlane...

Scotty_karaoke

Jeff: So you went to Juilliard?

Luke: Yeah, it was wonderful. As a guy who came from London, Ontario, I didn't know really anything about the theatre. It was a perfect place for me to go because I could be stripped down, you know… do the whole broken down and built back up thing. I didn't have a lot of ideas of what theatre meant.

Jeff: Do you prefer stage to screen?

Luke: It's an impossible question. But both are very different. It's been, frankly, too long since I went back to stage. So I'm looking forward to hopefully doing something on stage soon.

Jeff: Any possibilities?

Luke: No. I'm locked in. ABC owns me. (Laughs)

Jeff: So are you recognized a lot out and about?

Luke: Um…no, I'm not really recognized to tell you the truth. I had a very nice girl push me in the airport last week (Laughs) But no, I'm actually not recognized that much. I grow my beard out and wear a hat. (Laughs)

Jeff: So any other exciting projects coming up?

Luke: Well, the two other passions in my life are biking and cello. I have a race coming up which I'm looking forward to – a 40 mile mountain bike race. And, uh, I started taking cello again – I played for thirteen years and I gave it up when I went to Julliard – and I just started taking lessons again about 6 months ago. Sometime in the next year, I want to have a recital.

Jeff: Do you prefer the United States to Canada?

Luke: You know, the one thing I say about that is that I love going home and it's a great place. I would never turn in my Canadian passport. But I will say that America feels like a good place to be a young person. There's just so many possibilities and job opportunities and such.

Jeff: Do you get to go home a lot?

Luke: Not as much as I want to. I got to go home for Canadian Thanksgiving, and I go home for Christmas.

Jeff: Nice. And your family is all still there?

Luke: Yeah.

Jeff: Do they get to come down here a lot?

Luke: Yes. My twin sister has visited me, and my older sister and my mother have all come individually. When you live in Los Angeles, people tend to want to visit you, especially during the winter months. (Laughs)

Jeff: Without giving too much away, what can we expect from Scotty this season?

Luke: His career is going to take an upturn, so that's exciting. He'll finally be making money like the rest of the Walkers. (Laughs) And, you know, they're doing a really good job of keeping the relationship between Scotty and Kevin really honest, with little tensions here and there.

Bs17
Scotty proves his mad culinary skills, it's all about presentation

Jeff: So married life is good?

Luke: Married life is good so far. No roadblocks yet.

Jeff: Scotty's a chef – do you cook?

Luke: No, I love cooking, I love food. But…I'm not a cook. I have fantasies of it one day – in fact, my friend and I have been talking about taking a cooking class. But, no. (laughs)

Jeff: Any other similarities or differences to Scotty?

Luke: We look shockingly similar. (Laughs)

Jeff: Yeah, I noticed that. It's very disarming.

Luke: Of course, when you're on a television show, you're always drawing from your own experiences. I admire Scotty very much, I think he has a lot of tenacity.

Jeff: So you're not as tenacious?

Luke: No, I don't think I am. (Laughs) Scotty's drawn me out a bit, I think.

Jeff: Is there any approach you like to take when you're working on a character?

Luke: It was funny you know, one of my favorite things is doing all the research. When I do a play, I read as much as I can about it. It was funny, when I got this role, I didn't know really to start with the research. Scotty didn't have a job, and I really didn't know anything about him. I remember going to Facebook and going to people's profiles and trying to like steal traits from them. Thinking that I could find Scotty somewhere in the Facebook universe and I could somehow look at a picture of somebody and copy stuff. But there wasn't a lot of research I could really do on Scotty.

Jeff: (Laughs) You can drown in the Facebook universe.

Luke: Exactly, and just go for miles and miles and miles. But, you know, since he's become a chef, I've been reading a lot of cook books. I like to read; I like to research.

Luke was an absolutely pleasure to hang out with and was more than happy to take time out of his day to talk to me, and to the readers – so keep an eye on Scotty this season and Luke in all his future endeavors.

You can catch Luke and that crazy Walker clan every Sunday at 10pm on ABC – but if you're on this blog, you should already know that. This season is going to be awesome – take it from the intern. I'm not on payroll.

Until next time –

Trapped Ashes (2006)

Vincent

Here is Luke, a role which is very different from Scotty. The story is a sort of horror, this story is the fourth of four stories that were telling to other people who were trapped in a strange room. The story is spoken by a girl who was born as Vincent's daughter. And she, her externals, is pretty scary. Anyway Luke and her wife were from France in this story and running vineyard as a member of family. I actually thought why France though, it doesn't matter really.

"You Get What You Need"

After dinner with Scotty's folks.

Kevin: I didn't make partner. They gave it to someone else. And I couldn't say anything at dinner because I was so humiliated. This is by no means an excuse, but when I left work, all I could think of was getting to you. Because I knew when I'd see you, I would feel okay. When I got there, the only pair of eyes that I wanted to see were yours, because all I wanted was a hug.
How cute Kevin is! And Scotty is such a gentleman. He is always nice! I want to be a Kevin. I want to be hold by Scotty!

Bloggers & Sisters from ABC, Brothers & Sisters.
Luke Macfarlane Interview (Part One)

Hey there, readers, this is your dutiful intern Jeff signing on to 'Bloggers & Sisters' for the first time. Upon wandering onto the fourth floor of Stage 6 in September, I've had the pleasure of leeching onto the talented writing staff of 'Brothers & Sisters,' hoping to retain an ounce of their talent, creativity, and general awesomeness.

Expect great things this season.

Last week I had the opportunity to sit down with Luke Macfarlane, who plays Scotty Wandell, husband of Kevin Walker, and pester him with some questions about his career, his Canadian heritage, and of course, his inclusion in the 'Yummy Yummy Screw' section of Perez Hilton.

Lukemacfarland2

Jeff: You're a series regular this season, correct?

Luke: Yes. It's very nice -- as an actor you always want a stable job, so…Brothers & Sisters looks like a pretty stable job.

Jeff: Is this your first series?

Luke: Actually, I was on a series that only lasted a season. On FX, it was called Over There.

Jeff: So, you're from Canada?

Luke: Yes, a place called, London, Ontario. It's about two hours southwest of Toronto. It's a college town…Yeah, it was actually a very good place to be raised.

Jeff: So you started at the beginning of the series?

Luke: I was in the third episode. In the first season, I think I did seven episodes, maybe eight. And then I came back in the second season, and did the same thing. Yeah, lo and behold, it turned into something permanent, which is always really kind of a nice thing. You know, it actually came as a bit of shock.

Jeff: Really?

Luke: Yeah. I was coming back and I was doing some of these episodes and I was still a guest star. I was talking with Matthew and I was like, "Do you know what they have in mind for us?" and he said, "Yeah, I think we're getting married." And I said, "What?"

Jeff: Nice.

Luke: Yeah, the actors are always the last to know.

Jeff: How do you think Scotty's evolved over the last few seasons?

Luke: He's definitely changed a lot. It's interesting with TV because you kind of jump in and you really don't know where the narrative is going to go, so you make bold choices, and you kind of get to tweak as you go along. And unlike with a play script, you don't know where it ends. So yeah, he's definitely changed a lot. I think Scotty's now less concerned with sticking his nose in other people's business. I think he's become more confident in himself.

Jeff: So the wedding episode – you mentioned you were sort of the last to know – how was shooting that?

Luke: Oh, it was really wonderful. It kind of felt like we were doing something big, and it was done with great care from the costumes to the script. I know that David had spoken with someone who had officiated gay marriages, so that the words would be accurate and in line. And it was beautiful, you know. I felt like we all felt like were doing something special.

Scotty_wedding
Luke Macfarlane, as Scotty, says "I Do"

Jeff: And then with Proposition 8…?

Luke: Yeah, it was interesting – that happened after we did it. There was kind of that great synergy that happens when your work is in line with the world. It was very exciting, and continues to be exciting.

Jeff: So have you noticed a lot of the fan reaction to your character?

Luke: I actually try not to pay attention to that stuff. It's always funny when I hear people talk about Scotty, like "Oh Scotty, he's a fan favorite!" So I was like, "Oh, that's nice!" Really, though, from my personal experience I try to stay away from message boards and all that stuff.

Jeff: So you didn't see your photo spread on Perez Hilton on Monday?

Luke: I heard! It's always funny how your friends from high school are the ones who tip you off. I got two e-mails from friends, like, "Hey – you're on Perez Hilton!" I try to stay away. Because you're always going to look, and see all the nice stuff, and then you're going to come across that one line that annihilates you, and you're just going to feel bad for a week. So, I learned my lesson early on.

Jeff: So you have a good working relationship with Matthew Rhys?

Luke: Yeah, very good. I think we both come from theatre backgrounds, so our approach to the material is very similar. Yeah, he's an incredible actor, an incredible guy. I couldn't be happier.

To Be Continued...

Brothers & Sisters S3E03

"Tug of War"

This is a hurting episode for me. Actually I'd like to write down a lot though, I can't do it now. It's a sort of pain for me.

Kevin: It validates us in the eyes of the client. If for some godforsaken reason someone on this planet does want to love, honor, and cherish a lawyer, we can't be all that bad.
Scotty: Wow, I'm so glad we had our commitment ceremony.
Kevin: I didn't put a ring on your finger for nothing.

At this point, there is nothing to worry about. But later...

Brothers & Sisters S3E01

"Glass Houses"
Before this scene, Scotty & Kevin are alone two of them in Glass Houses, there is a nice conversation.
Scotty: You know what? I'm glad we're hosting this. It's the least we can do after everything your family's done for us.
Kevin: You're so much nicer than I am. You know what? When I make partner, I'm gonna buy you two whales. Moby and Dick.
Of course I know, Scotty is much nicer than Kevin, I mean sometimes he is too much nice.
Arriving of all the Walkers, they get busy, but they find a small calm lovely time.
Scotty: You love it!
Kevin: Love what?
Scotty: Of them being here, hosted by you Mr. I've got a key of fabulous beach house soon to be a partner major LA law farm.
.
.Kevin: Don't go to the beach just yet.
Scotty: Why would you haven't mind. Kevin, your family what they spill something.
Kevin: I've already taken care of that.
Scotty leans to Kevin and kisses on the lips. From Scotty's facial expression, it's easy to learn when he starts leaving the room he knows Kevin definitely stops him. I guess he expects more than kiss, of course! I want to watch it more, too.

Luke is so cute! Especially when he is talking to Alex on the phone after she got upset the day before. While talking he is filming himself, and the facial expression is such adorable.

Brothers & Sisters S2E16

"Prior Commitments"
Scotty: Nora, thank you for everything.
Nora: No, I should be thanking you for making Kevin so happy. And I get another son.

I love Scotty's facial expression when he answers to Nora saying "Okay". The way of expression of Nora is quite good. Actually for me, Nora is always troublesome though, this time she pretty lovely for me. And same time, if you think of what happen to Kevin's visitation of Scotty's folks, you can easily guess Scotty's circumstance as a gay son wasn't happy enough for him, but now he gets a much better understanding mother in low.
And at the wedding, of course the kiss scene is the best, I can't believe they have forgotten to bring rings though. They hold hands each other, face each other, then lean in, and kiss. Also I like the scene where Sarah is in tears. It's a beautiful brother & sister's love.
Then they go back to their flat.

Scotty: Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Kevin: What?
Scotty: Who's gonna carry who across the threshold?
Kevin: We don't have to do that, do we?
Scotty: Oh, if that's the way you feel about it.
Kevin: No, no, no.
Scotty: Oh God, you're heavy!
Kevin: Well, you're not gonna take me all the way to the bedroom?
Scotty: It's funny. It's our first time home as a married couple, and suddenly, I'm not in the mood.
Kevin: Yeah, Tommy warned me that would happen.

Brothers & Sisters S2E15

"Moral Hazard"

I like this scene. As it happened at YouTube, I don't know how long this clip can be seen in Blogger though, I would like to put this clip here.

This isn't appropriate probably to write here though, when they muted with my clip at YouTube I was very shocked. Because I got something like that with other clips but they were a sort of no conversations. But this time all of conversation is covered with her song, so I was very sad. Also I don't know what kind of rules they have, most of other more popular clips still have their sounds. How should I know why mine was the first one that should be muted? I know copyrights, but still I don't get it, why mine?

Brothers & Sisters S2E15

"Moral Hazard"

This clip will be audio muted soon. Unfortunately there is no way to solve the problem.

Actually it's only proposal scene. But anyone who likes Scotty & Kevin love this part. I want to be asked by Luke to marry him!!!!! That's very lovely and touching scene. I'll never forget this scene.

When I watched this scene, I don't know why, but I was very concerned about Luke's hand. He put his right hand beside his face, then on the couch, next is beside his face... It bothered me first.
Anyway, same as other people who loves them, I watched this clip many times. I love this scene though somehow Luke's hand still pulls my attention.

Also I love their lines.

Kevin: And I realise how lucky I am because I get to come home to someone who's kind and caring, and who changes the light bulbs, and..... Marry me.
Scotty: What?
Kevin: I mean it. I don't wanna wait. I don't wanna... I wanna make this official.
Scotty: Because I changed the light bulbs?
Kevin: No, no, well, yeah, kind of. Because, Scotty, that's who you are. I'm completely, completely in love with you. I even love the things about you that I hate. Because you make me feel like I don't have to be anyone other than who I am. And to me, that feels like family. And that's what I want us to be. I want us to be a family because that never ends. I'm doing this all wrong, Scotty, I am asking you, will you please marry me?
Scotty: Yes. Yes, Kevin, I will marry you.
And the song, Warm Whispers by Missy Higgins matches to this scene quite well.

Out in Hollywood 29/Apr/'08

An article from Out in Hollywood.
A chat w/Luke MacFarlane...
By Greg Hernandez on April 29, 2008 8:50 AM

He had them at mango salsa.

When Luke MacFarlane's endearing character of Scotty sat down to dinner for the first time with the Walker clan on "Brothers & Sisters," it was a big outdoor party scene where Sally Field's Nora had just humiliated her late husband's mistress Holly (Patricia Wettig). The tension was incredibly high until Scotty piped up and asked, "Is this salsa mango?"

Scotty Wandell and Kevin Walker (Matthew Rhys) had instant chemistry from the minute the financially struggling waiter-turned-chef walked into his law office on a legal matter. He cut through Kevin's veneer with quirky humor and charm and you knew he had Kevin's heart when he bit into a red velvet cupcake and smiled at the end of one of their early episodes..

"My whole experience on the show started off as just a few episodes and it's just become more and more and more and I'm so grateful for that," Luke told me Monday night when we chatted before the start of the "A Conversation With Brothers & Sisters" event at the Television Academy in North Hollywood.

Luke, 28, was among the 12 cast members who participated as he was recently promoted from recurring character to full-fledged series regular: "They are making a regular for season three. It's very, very nice. We all know in television it's hard to get a gig that lasts for a long time so when the agent calls up and says, 'You're guaranteed these number of episodes you feel very, very lucky."

Luke, who studied drama at Julliard, was previously best-known for his role as Pvt. Frank "Dim" Dumphy in the series "Over There." The Canadian actor had never given any interviews about his personal life until discussing his sexuality for the first time in an interview with the Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail a few weeks ago 2008. He decided to share that not only is he playing a gay man on TV, but he is a gay man in life.

""It's been relatively simple for me," he said of the increased spotlight. "I'll say that I decided to do that interview, I decided to answer those questions in an effort to make my life simpler and that's going to contunue to be my motto. So, I'll have to say, it hasn't been that hot a light on me at all."

Even though through much of show's first season the writers had Kevin struggling with commitment issues and go on to have relationships with a closeted soap actor (Jason Lewis) and a minister (Eric Winter), Scotty had been a fan favorite from his first scene and audiences wanted to see he and Kevin together.

Said Luke: "Well, I do know that the fans had a lot to do with Scotty staying around as long as he has so I'm grateful for them."

I mention to him that now that Scotty is getting more airtime, the fans now want to get to know Luke himself a little better. He laughed a bit nervously and said, "In time."

We look forward to it.

" Double Negative"

Again, why Kevin always thinks something by only his side? I know Kevin doesn't mean such selfish things but it looks like he doesn't respect Scotty's feeling, I guess. But this time, Scotty mentions it's his problem not Kevin's. I like his way of thinking.

Kevin: Look, I think I figured out a way to solve your problems.
Scotty: Um, you're gonna teach me to deveine shrimp with one hand?
Kevin: Your insurence problems.
Scotty: If it involves me not having to take a third job, I'm all for it.
Kevin: Why don't we file for domestic partnership?
Scotty: Excuse me?
Kevin: It's so simple. All we have to do is fill out some forms, get them notarized, and that is that. We're then recognised as a couple by the state of California. And that entitles you to insurance from my firm. That's medical, dental, vision, dependent life, accidental death and dismemberment....
Scotty: Death and dismemberment? Yippee!
Kevin: What's with the sarcasm?
Scotty: Nothing. I said I was gonna take care of it and I will, okay, Kevin? It's my problem. Not yours.

And they come back to Kevin's flat. Then they have a cute conversation again.

Kevin: I thought I was doing a good thing.
Scotty: You were doing a practical thing.
Kevin: Well, what's wrong with that?
Scotty: Kevin, for us, domestic partnership is it. You know, our only legal option, our version of marriage. For now at least. And at the risk of sounding like a twelve-year-old girl, I want my wedding to be special. “Practical” isn't enough of a reason.
.
.
Kevin: It is romantic. But at the risk of sounding like a thirty-something straight guy. I don't know if I'm ready for that or if I ever will be.
Scotty: I'm not asking you to be.

And also my favourite line, Scotty says "We're boyfriends, not clones"

Actually there is no Scotty, but Kevin talks to Scotty on the phone. And he calls Scotty, "Sweetie"

Kinsey (2004)

Bruce Kinsey
Oh, Luke. He appears less than one minutes. Actually the main reason that I watched this film is to see Luke Macfarlane as Bruce Kinsey though, and he has only a few lines. In the deleted scene, he swims.

"Compromises"

This is another cute episode. I like the fact that Kevin wants to be thought gentle and funny guy by Scotty's friends but he really can't do it by nature.

Scotty: Okay, I know my friends weren't the warmest last night.
Kevin: I should've worn a parka.
Scotty: They were just being protective.
Kevin: From what? Me?
Scotty: You have to admit, our history has been a little bit checkered.
Kevin: I'm not solely responsible for the checkering, okay?
.
.
Scotty: They'll warm up to you. You're different. They're more bohemian.
Kevin: Come on, admit it. They just think I'm boring.
Scotty: No, they just think you're ..... uptight.
Kevin: I'm not uptight.
Scotty: Okay. Whatever you need to tell yourself.

The last of this conversation, Scotty says "At least they think you're cute." I love his saying. I would love to hear it from Scotty!

Sarah: Come on, Kevin. We're Walkers. Let's go do what Walkers do best!
Kevin: Get drunk? Okay.

Ah, Sarah, I love you. I like Kevin & Sarah's conversation. Sarah is my favourite role in the Walkers.

Sarah: Do you want Scotty's friends to know what a warm, caring, fan guy Kevin Walker is?
Kevin: Yes.
Sarah: Then drink up and get stupid with me.

"GET STUPID WITH ME." That's very Sarah. It reminds me a scene from Season 1 Episode 9, Sarah, Tommy & Kevin went to road trip and dropped an army bar, there Sarah behaved exactly like her.

Scotty: This is incredibly sweet, but I think I should probably put him out of his misery.

They are the cutest couple ever!
I also like Kevin & Sarah's conversation. Actually Matthew can sing much much better than this singing.

Brothers & Sisters S2E11

"The Missionary Imposition"

This episode is one of my favourites, probably stays in my top five for a long time.

If I were Scotty, I wouldn't know whether I feel glad when Kevin tells about Jason's visitation. I don't want to be outside of this issue, but at the same time I don't want to see them together. Scotty has a little worry, I mean he was a little upset that Jason is going to drop by their place, but he loves Kevin very much, so he pretends he never feels about bad.

Scotty plans to come back home earlier because he wants to be involved with their party. I love Luke's facial expression when Kevin and Jason are talking about their relationship.

Jason: You wanna know why I did't call?
Kevin: Why?
Jason: I thought it would make it worse.
Kevin: Worse?!
Jason: I missed you too much, okay? I though if I could just focus on where I was and what I was trying to do that...

Luke is very talented, gorgeous and cute. In the storyline, I especially like Scotty's jealousy. I really understand his feeling.

Kevin: You know, you know what that is? That's the worst excuse I've ever heard. You made me feel like we were through. Over. Like I was some materialistic guy you had no time for.
Scotty: And you guys have nothing to resolve, right.
Kevin: Stay out of this for one minute.
Scotty: No. Why don't you just ask him why he came home? I'm sure you wanna know.
Jason: Oh, it wasn't for him, if that's what you're thinking. He dumped me, that's when I found my spiritual strength. Finally!
Kevin: So God won after all.
Jason: Yes, Kevin. In a contest between you and God, God won.
Kevin: Great. So everything worked out for the best.
Jason: Yeah. Perfect.
Scotty: Well, I'm really glad we had that talk.

I don't know if Scotty feels exactly as he said though, at least he finds out their relationship is over. That's good for him. Whole this scene, Luke shows very good facial expression. I love his acting! And I also love his voice. If he would whisper in my ear, I would melt.

Scotty: OK, If you're not gonna talk about what happened tonight, then I'm gonna go out.
Kevin: Nothing to talk about. You ambushed my tea party.
.
.
Kevin: What do you want me to do, Scotty?
Scotty: Be honest with me. If you're still in love with Jason McCallister...
Kevin: No, I am not in love with Jason McCallister! Why do you have to be so jealous?
Scotty: Because if you could see the two of you together,
Kevin: If you don't trust me, leave!
Scotty: Fine!!
Kevin: Oh, God! Where are you going?
Scotty: I'm leaving! Isn't that what you want?
Kevin: Yeah, it is. Have a great night!
I love this quarrel. How cute Scotty is!!!!!! But if I were told "If you don't trust me, leave!" by someone whom I love, I would be very sad and hurt.
Anyway, also I love the making up scene in the car next morning. Scotty is shamed what he's done last night, and Luke's facial expression is perfect! I can't think of any other better things than this.
Kevin: Wow, I love what you've done with the place.
Scotty: Yeah, well, at least it's mine.
Kevin: I'm sorry.
Scotty: No, I shouldn't have barged in on your tea party.
Kevin: Yeah, enough with the shellfish now. But you know, when you walked in, I was secretly so proud.
Scotty: Of what?
Kevin: Of you. Of how genuine you are and how crazy and honest and...
Scotty: Jealous.
Kevin: mmm..., So how do I make this better?
Scotty: I don't want you to see him any more.
Kevin: Even if I did, it wouldn't mean anything.
Scotty: I know. You're gonna run into him at family stuff.
Kevin: Yeah.
Scotty: I just don't want you making plans with him.
Kevin: Okay. Promise.
Scotty: Really?
Kevin: I don't think you get how much I want us to be together.
Scotty: God, now I feel like an idiot for asking.
Kevin: Why? It only makes me want you even more.
Wow! How hot their kiss is! And also it's very sweet.
Kevin: You know what? I actually do have to go to work, and I don't wanna get caught getting busy in a 1970's Ranchero, as beautiful as it is.
Scotty: I'll see you when you get home?
Kevin: Okay.

And the last kiss makes this scene perfect.

Brothers & Sisters S2E10

"The Feast of Epiphany"

Wow, the Walkers fight again!

Kevin: He wants to have some lunch.
Sarah: When?
Kevin: I don't know. He's being so vague.
Sarah: You didn't tell Scotty?
Kevin: Why would I do that?
Sarah: You should.
Kevin: He almost broke up with me after the wedding, because he's afraid I'm still into Jason.
Sarah:Well, are you?
Kevin: Well, who made you my conscience? What are you, Jiminy Cricket?

Jiminy Cricket!
Kevin comes back to his flat.

Scotty: Oh, please, let's not judge. I mean, we're accidentally living together. If Jason were to come home tomorrow, I'd be back in my Ranchero.
Kevin: Why... Why would you think Jason's coming... Why would you be back in your Ranchero?

Wow! Scotty might have a clairvoyance!
