No new season?

Rachel Griffiths talked about Brothers & Sisters on a show. It sounds like Brothers & Sisters has been cancelled.

Did Rachel Griffiths announce Brothers & Sisters is axed?
By David Knox on May 2, 2011

Last night surprise Logie presenter Rachel Griffiths appeared to indicate US drama Brothers and Sisters is about to be axed.

During a chat with host Shane Bourne, she was asked about her plans to direct her first feature length movie in Australia next year, called B-Model.

“I’m soon to be unemployed so I checked in with Centrelink and I don’t know if anybody’s noticed they’re cracking down on the whole welfare thing. So I went to see Centrelink and said, ‘Looks like I’m out of a job and wanna sign up.’

“And they said, ‘You have to be looking for work.’ So I said I’m trying to direct a movie, and it’s all gone crazy.”

When joking about her attempts to find work she added, “I looked them in the eye and said, ‘I think I am going to be unemployed,’ and they didn’t seem to be very warm.”

ABC drama Brothers and Sisters is yet to be renewed for the US Fall season and is one of the shows tipped to go under the axe.
It's unlikely having a new season.

Pic Post! A First Look at the "Brothers & Sisters" Finale
Posted by Dennis Ayers, Managing Editor on April 28, 2011

There are only two episodes left of the fifth season of Brothers & Sisters, and we still haven't heard if the show will be returning for a sixth. The series has been on a creative roll of late and the ratings are okay... and yet with 109 episodes in the can and major characters departed, it's starting to feel like the end of the road for this shows.  (Thank goodness snicks will probably soon have Days of Our Lives to liveblog. Idle recappers are the devil's work.)
If the end of Brothers & Sisters is indeed upon us, then judging from these advance photos of the May 1st and May 8th episodes at least, longtime fans will be getting some closure.
For instance, in "For Better or for Worse" (to air May 1st) we see actress Marika Dominczykreturn as Tyler. She and Justin were a couple way back in season one. Remember, she was a hotel manager and got him that job as a bellhop-- which he promptly lost. Justin really loved her, but she sensibly had to break up with him because of his depression and drug addiction.
Well, Justin has cleaned up his act, and from the photos below, looks like a spark is still there between these two characters. Maybe she'd be a good love interest for him to ride off into the sunset with?
From ABC's official description, here's what else to look forward to in this episode: "After Sarah confronts Brody about his being her father, she decides she no longer wants him to be a part of her life or Nora's, but Nora just can't seem to let him go. Meanwhile, Olivia struggles with the new addition of baby Daniel to the family."

The photos that follow are all from the May 8th finale, "Walker Down the Aisle:" As Sarah and Luc's nuptials approach, plans go horribly awry and the Walkers learn several surprising lessons about the real meaning of family.

Yes, they're totally laughing at your bridesmaid dress, Kitty.
Looks like Sarah might be getting some closure with bio Dad Brody (Beau Bridges) before the episode is over.
Either impromptu musical number...
or all the Walker men have become zombies.

The Walkers are at the funeral of grandma Ida. I believe on the 10th of April they will air two episodes (Olivia's Choice / Never Say Never) .

Brothers & Sisters S5E15

"Brody"

This episode was directed by Matthew Rhys
No Scotty, but I like Paige and Joaquin story :D
So should I name this clip "Kevin & Joaquin"?
Tommy: He's out in my car.
Kevin: By himself?
Tommy: Well, he was sleeping so soundly, I didn't want to wake him up.

Justin: Will someone please tell me what the hell is going on with the muffins? I had four of them.
Sarah: Justin, could you just go talk to Paige? She'll explain everything. Please.

Kevin: Where did you get these muffins? They are amazing.
Justin: Uh, Brody made them. I got, like, a dozen of them.
Tommy: Yeah, nobody else wanted any whan they found out the main ingredient was powdered Joaquin.
Kevin: This is Joaquin?
Justin: Uh, yeah. What's the big deal?
Kevin: You had to know him, I guess.

Brothers & Sisters S4E05

"Last Tango in Pasadena"

Definitely this season is much much much much better than season 3. And I would say Scotty finally become a human being not a living angel. I actually love the scene where Scotty tells Kevin that he thinks how Kevin thinks about their relationship, and how he feels about it. Also another fabulous part, the end of the scene where Scotty is holding a baby, I think this is one of the most adorable scene.

Kevin: Look, I didn't wanna dance.
Scotty: Oh my god, you can't do it.
Kevin: If it's still equal, why don't you do it.
Sarah: Come on, Kevin. This is really starting to piss me off.
Scotty: No, no, no. It's not about being the girl, it's about following, isn't it? No one's allowed to make any decisions, but you aren't supposed to following do whatever you want.
Kevin: I never boss you around.
Scotty: Some other old important decisions were always yours. Where we live, when we have a baby, how we have a baby, who takes care of the baby after it's formed.
Kevin: I'm sorry I'm not having this argument.
Scotty: Oh, when we have an argument?
Saul: I think Tango was not a good idea.
Scotty: You know what, I'm making a decision now. We're leaving. Good night, everybody. Luc, thank you for a wonderful meal, I'm sorry if we spoiled your dance lesson.
Justin: Kevin, I think you should follow.

And one more thing. When they call Gilles Marini, Luc, I feel like Luke is called. It's a sort of confusing. Of course I know Luke is Scotty here.

Brothers & Sisters S3E23

"Let's Call the Whole Thing Off: Scotty & Sarah"

It's a very good scene, Scotty is with Sarah, but it's too short!
Kevin is with Robert and Kitty. Personally I don't like the storyline that Kevin works for Robert, but it'll probably finish soon, hopefully.

Many people mention about Nora is a good and an ideal mother, but it's not for me. I always feel she is very controlling, and I think she is selfish. She cares her children very much, I understand that but she has no right to manipulate them as she wants. Whenever I see her enthusiasm for her kids I feel uncomfortable. Also I don't understand what Kitty is thinking. In the former episode, at the Julia's farewell party, when Julia wanted to make a toast, she accused Kevin as an interrupter, and in this episode I assume she is the person who would be rebuked, but she yells that he is the person who is screeching. But gentle Kevin says "But I am the lucky one, 'cos you can't rid of me."

Anyways next week episode is the Season Finale. Happily they announced about a fourth season. I can't wait already, LOL.

Brothers & Sisters S3E21

"S3X: Do you wanna let him in?"

It's been a long time to see them since last episode. I actually have watched Episode 19 many times though, I'll watch this clip more than that!!

This episode is probably one of the best for Kevin & Scotty in this Season. Although it was very short, I watched Episode 19 a lot, and I liked Episode 10, Kevin's liver donation, too.

Sarah: Oh, no. Oh my God. I've done it again, haven't I?

I love Kevin & Sarah's conversation, always.

Kevin: Me, I'm, I'm...
Sarah: (whispers to Kevin) Married.
Kevin: I'm married.

To tell the truth, I didn't like Chad in Season 1 because Jason Lewis looked like performing Chad reluctantly. But this time, Jason looks like enjoying his role, so it's OK for me. Not a big fan of him though.
